It is now the family computer, since the PC is pretty much dead. I got about 700 gigs of storage in the thing right now.

Do you think a mac pro and 20" ACD would fit on that desk? Or at least a 20" ACD? That seems like the same desk that we use at my school...so i thought i would throw it out their..

Yea I definitely think the 20 ACD + MacPro would be able to fit. The sony lcd in my picture was 19in but 4:3 instead of widescreen so it might be a tighter squezze on the sides but you can relocate the speakers onto the shelf. Be prepared to protect your computer from your roomies lol. They'll probably start drooling once they see your setup.

You telling me that you use a 30" Apple Cinema Display and an Apple Keyboard with a Wincan? Why don't you get a Bluetooth Mighty Mouse and iSight now you've started Have you considered getting a MacPro?

Yea after getting my first powerbook 3 years ago Ive been hooked on apple. I guess I've been gradually readying my desktop. Its pretty funny when everyone assumes its an apple computer from just seeing the desk. The BT mighty would be a nice match but I just cant get over its ergonomics, it would take more getting used to than I would like.

The MacPro is definitely on my list especially since it can dualboot, but Im still hurting from buying the ACD a year ago...I know eventually I wont be able to resist!

my workspace

Dear Bro's,

what a kind and awesome forums, and a hell of a thread. Well, there we go. This is my workspace. A MacBook with an Apple Cinema HD Display 23". What do you think?

Best regards. BTW: The post before mine: Really nice and clean workspace.

I hate to say it, but the old cinema displays are far classier than their modern day siblings (which I am fortunate enough to own a 20" model of)

Nice setup iBlue and hardline!

Thank you very much. Very kind of you. Yeah, i like it too. Everytime when I wake up in the morning or coming from uni, I am stunned by the Apple Display. Jonathan Ive just made some timeless masterpieces...

iBlue you must have alot of extra cash just around the house for all of those macs. Also why do you have so many cause you can't be using all of them at the same time?

Why is the 17" pb a POS?

Trust me if I had one of those I would fall off like 4 times a day.
Trust me that's not entirely unheard of. Couple of Jack n Cokes and she's all over the place, such a light weight. Oh, or a bit of a tickle.
