Ummm..... WOW and Why?

because sometimes its good to have a 15" notebook... and sometimes you can bring the 17" and if you need portable the MacBook (13") Also, sometimes the 17" displays arent big enough on all of them so thats why you have a 23".

kidding. :p

Just think, with three seperate e-mail accounts, you could have a 3-way conversation with yourself :p

Setups with multiple comps

I don't really see the point in setups with 3 laptops and a mac mini/g5....I can understand A laptop and ONE desktop (G5/mac mini) with a sweet monitor but why would anyone need any more than that?

Look at it like this. He owns one of the PowerBooks, maybe not Intel. The ACD is for hooking up either the MacBook or the Powerbook and using as a desktop. Macbook is his, wanted an Intel Mac and also wanted to keep his still fast PowerBook... As for the other powerbook, I dunno, provided by work?

Edit - Are they both MacBook Pros? iSights in the top?... I can't tell... I have job and a girlfriend you see

Has anyone ever seen a setup where the ACD is mounted??? I love to see one?

I may be alone on this one, but wall mounted ACDs and iMacs just never impress me. Something about the way they look just seems out of place. The one linked ^^ above ^^ looks strange to me too, but I do love the desk in that picture. :)

a 30incher might look more impressive mounted. heh.

but I agree, I never really got into the wall-mounted monitors. Not to mention the fact that I am constantly adjusting the angle of my monitor depending on how I'm sitting (slouched, straight up, etc).. mounting it would take away a lot of the adjustability, would it not?

wall mount ACD

I'm thinking of mounting my ACD but I want to mount it to an ajustable arm thats about 20in long so I'd have a lot of manuevrability and tilt options....has anyone ever seen someone do this? I would love to see a link?

despite a ruptured hand tendon and a sprained ankle, i finally managed to kick my office around and re-configured it this past weekend.

I attached a pic below, but i've never done that so hopefully it worked :)
It worries me that the star wars are on the wall. It reminds me of my old place where my boyfriend took over three walls that were 12x15, 12x12, and 12x10 and still had more to hang. Once we moved I protested. Even though I enjoy the figures myself, I felt like I was going nuts with all of them on the wall. ;)

Nice setup btw.
