OK OK...some of you have some pretty freakin' high-tech and saweeeet set-ups(!)...but over here in Thailand I'm keepin it "sabai sabai". MacBook, Thaispeed wireless and mango/banana smoothies. I'll grab a lime from the "office" tree later for the after work gin and tonic. life sucks.

Agreed. That looks fantastic. I'm looking to get a laptop sometime before next summer, and I'll try my best to emulate that type of setup on my patio.

It looks like those gel writing pads, except for a laptop. Just a guess.

That's a marware protection pad. I'm really happy with it. No macbook yellowing for me.

cheers!

can you take it off if you dont like it?

Yeah, the adhesive is sort of like a post-it note but a firmer hold. I had it on for a month and tested taking it off. piece of cake and not a bit of residue. It stuck right back on as good as the first time.

if you just got it then why are the dates on the pics from nearly 5 months ago?
Is that a joke or... It's the 4th of septmeber homie.

Sweet MBP, that would be EXACTLY what I would have gotten if I had my MBP. But now it will most likely be 2.33GHz, 2GB ram, biggest HD.

My bet would be he's in another country --

In the US, the date would be written as MM/DD/YYYY, but (if I'm not mistaken), in many other countries, it's written as DD/MM/YYYY.

Why have a Mini and iMac side by side? What do you use one for, that you can't do on the other? Just curious....

Well, my initial intention was to setup a small home server (mini is quiet and energy efficient). But it didn't work out well, so now I just use them parallel :D
