Most recent setup:

Will be updating the setup soon with a 20" Apple display for my PB and wireless keyboard. I'll put the PB under the desktop on the keyboard pull out shelf.;)

Also my Airport Extreme is on the other side of the room, but told me she's camera shy.

Is that a Hi-Res Pb and also, is the PB faster than or just equal to the Tower in terms of performance?

It's 2 years old this month and about the same speed as the old DP-1GHz PowerMac. But has a faster superdrive. Plus it much less imposing than the PowerMac and more portable.

I was going to upgrade the lappy before now. But I've decided I'll wait for round 2 of the Intel Laptops and Leopard to come along. ;)

- PS -

It makes sense for me to also hold off until Adobe CS3 comes out with Intel native support.

Is that Mini on top of a subwoofer???

Two bad things going on there: magnet and vibrations.

the effect of magnets on a computer (hard drives specifically) have been GREATLY overstated. he'll probably win the lottery while being simultaneously struck by lightning before the mini's hard drive will fail from a magnet in a nearby speaker.

That's gotta be one of my favorites.

crashlock, if you still have that G4, please put it on a large desk and take another picture in the best lighting you can get. It's so beautiful, it's just worth it.

There's something still sexy about PBs.....even sexier than MBPs IMHO, i love my PB and just cant sell it despite many offers. In fact i use it more than my MBP and its the first mac i'm considering getting AppleCare for just to prolong it as much as possible. Long live the G4's

My old setup was pretty similar: :)

Are those headphones the Sennheiser EH150? If they are, a few questions. Do you like the sound? Have you compared lossless format to AAC? And do they block out any noise?

Ooh, I love the look and feel of that setup!
Yeah so do i but that was his old setup. wonder if the new one is as good as that.

Also, what creature speakers are those with the LEDs in the bottom?? I have only seen them without LEDs but with looks cooler.

Those are the Sennheiser HD 212 pro, I have them. The Sound is pretty much alright, the bass is good, and you definitely feel a difference between AAC at let's say 256KBps and Lossless. It might be my ears, but I still think they bring out the difference. The left cable on mine broke, but If you get a good deal (under 40 bucks), and don't have too big ears, I can recommend them.

EDIT:
radiantm3, I LOVE your setup. It pays great restecp to the G4's design. A little too much clutter, but it's not like wireless was a real option back then, so I still love it.

Thanks for the nice comments people.

I have just recently sold my old Apple Cinema Display and PowerMac G4. It will be paying for my new ACD and some bits. I'll post pics soon as I make my new setup. My camera is in need of updating too. As my pics are 4 mega-pixel rubbish quality i know. Thinking of getting a Casio Exilim :p

One last fair-well pic of the old girl:(

If you think his setup was wicked, you should check out his site. radiantm3's site is incredible! I'm still on the fence about to cave for a 933Mhz/1Ghz G4 PowerMac but I know I should just wait to save enough for the Mac Pro.;)

@allexsimmons; The T68i (SonyEricsson)/m (Ericsson) was a farce. Sure many liked it but I couldnt stand it. It was the first ever colour screen phone. I prefered the T39m - STILL slimmer than RAZR's standards, better battery life (non colour screen though).

radiantm3's website is really well done. He does great work! I'm saving for a macpro as well. I'm gonna use my Core 2 Duo PC until after Leopard is released and then I may make the plunge. I will have all my credit cards well paid off by then too... which is always a good thing!

This is my new setup. I first had a 15" compaq monitor, then i got a 17" compaq then just recently got a 19" compaq. So i trashed the 15" and used the 17" and 19". Quite ghetto, but it suits me well. :D

While most of us would say ditch the CRTs (none the less, Compaqs) and get shiny new LCDs, at least you have a Mac. Think of it that way.
