The perfect setup is to be in an equilateral triangle, with you forming one corner and the speaker cones forming the other two, so anything as close to as possible is a bonus.......either that or you sit about 6 feet away from your desk

It's the 2405fpw. Apparently there's something about the 2407fpw that makes it inferior to the previous model - something about it only being 4-bit
. Search some 'expert' forums as I have no idea about this. I'm sure its a load of pedantic nonsense.Anyway, I got my Dell for about a third of the normal price thanks to some misguided government computer literacy scheme. And I'm very, very happy with it (apart from the fact that the DVI cable wont screw into the back of the Dell very well...but that's probably me just missing something).
Finally got a new machine on my $5 desk... it could be time to get a new desk though.

I *love* those speakers! I was playing with some in the Apple store the other day, and they sounded great.
What do you make of them?

The VX2100 I just got and am rather excited about.
The other camera won't be seeing much use any more it's a JVC.
Right now my film making basically extends to skateboard videos, but I am working on some other things.
There are some videos on my website (see sig). Trailer 2 is probably the best thing on there.

Vx2100 is a very nice camcorder, my uncle owns one, and I've used it plenty of times to tell you its worth the money.
I got the dvc30 just because my budget was so low, sure would have picked up a vx2100 if I had a little bit more money.
