Trusty iBook
Hi everybody, first post here for me. Here's my (mini) setup.
My trusty iBook in it's natural environment, when it's not on the road or at work
What you see:
- iBook 12", PPC 1.2Ghz, 768mb ram, 30GB HDD (and not 20GB, thanks Rynannel2003
- Apple keyboard
- Griffin Elevator stand
- LaCie external HDD 250GB
- cradle of my Sony DSC-T3 camera
- cheapo Silvercrest USB speakers
- Kensington Wireless notebook optical mouse
- an old Flemish farmer's table
I switched to Apple in August last year by buying this secondhand iBook, never looked back, been hooked ever since. I'll buy a 20" iMac in a couple of months and a nice set of speakers to go with it. Can't wait

You're absolutely right. I guess I'm so used to being so tight in HD space, I always thought it only had 20gigs...Cheers to all iBookies out there btw!

Yeah I plan on upgrading my HD to at least an 80GB later on in the year. I'm gonna pay somebody to do it because I would be scared that I would break something... 30GB just isn't enough in today's market.

If you cleaned up that mess a bit you would have a pretty sweet setup on your hands. I'd recommend a "L" shaped desk and lots and lots of cord management.
I couldn't imagine keepin an ACD boxed away just because I was too lazy to reorganize my setup.

What difference does it make what he needs it for? It would be a fine question to ask, if you could do it without coming off as condescending.
Besides, his setup is hardly much more unnecessary than this...
...he's just got more processing power. Don't be jealous.
