I got a new addition to the family today....

MBP :D

2.2 Ghz, C2D, the standard 2.2 Ghz 15 inch version basically. It is so much better than my other laptop, a HP AMD turion thingy.

Gonna be using it for portable recording when I get the rest of the gear, I love it :D

Sick Laptop, where'd you get the wallpaper?
 
Oh dont worry the Mac Pro will be hugely in use from tomorrow, its just new toy day so MBP all day today :D

The wallpaper is from a site called www.mahou.org, it's full of anime wallpapers, just searched in google for anime wallpapers and it came up, now my Mac Pro, MBP, linux desktop and other laptop all have wallpapers from it :)

To get an idea of how I make my desktop wallpapers, I use this template (resized obviously) I developed specifically for my set up. You'll see it even accounts for the space between the displays:

The flash really shows finger prints. :( Guess I have to rub the whole thing down.

Anyways... I got the mStand, and WOW... Can you say "Design flaw"? It's marketed to make your laptop work / look great with an ACD. Yet the display's plug won't even fit through the hole. -_-



Soooo yeah... This is how it connects. It's kind of lame.. they BARELY reach. =\

I like it better with the laptop closed, and displayed as the piece of art it is. =)

Yeah I need to clean my carpet.. :(

Still need to sand-blast and paint the desk. The finger-prints and imperfections with the grinding process are glaring right now. =P

Wow, that sucks! I'm glad I bought an iCurve now :D

I had been tempted to buy an mstand.

i read also that many people had problems with that 2wire 2700hg, but i havent had any, nor i have to reboot it, also i tested reception 80m from my house and still could navigate in internet
