Figured I'd post mine.

The Macbook will be replaced with a Macbook Pro once they start shipping them with Leopard.

The keyboard and mouse are getting replaced with a wireless Mighty mouse and wireless keyboard.

finally took some pics of my room.
no desk.

im taking daytime pics tomorrow, so these will be replaced by this time tomorrow.

I like your room because has no desk, no definite workplace. I like the Futon.

I personally have to wait to post my set up. When leopard comes pre-installed is when I get my first mac. I'm making the switch!:apple:

holy ****

someone on here who actually uses a laptop as a laptop instead of putting in on one of those stands and using external everything.

I certainly wouldn't understand why someone would want to bring their laptop up to eye level and expand their screen real-estate with an extra display

That being said, personally, I seldom use my notebook at my desk.

To dispell boredom this afternoon I set about building a stand for my MacBook out of some scrap 1"x1/4" lengths. I might sand it all down, neaten it up a bit, then prime it, spray it, & gloss it, or I might be lazy & just leave the bare wood & joints. At any rate I'm going to stick some rubber on the bottom & along the lip at the front.

I really need to get me some more... but seeming as I'm a university student who doesn't go to trade shows or anything like that, I have no idea where to source them from!

G3apalooza + a MBP + a G4

The MacBook Pro is my main computer, and it is connected to its 20" LCD, running in "Dual display mode."
The Power Mac G4 is my secondary computer.
All of the G3s were recently acquired by me and some friends from a school district upgrading to Mac Pros.

We've acquired a total of 20 PowerMac G3s, They are 300Mhz PPC G3 Processors, 192MB of RAM (Except for the one that recognizes only 64, the 128 stick does not work), but only 7 of the G3s are at my house, the rest are at my friends' house.

I could have so much fun with that many PowerMacs

I used to have my laptop on my bed and use it anywhere, but after I got the external speakers it's just too much pain to hook and unhook it all the time. I still take it to the bed on a lazy weekend morning though :).
