Here is mine, to the right of the display too. Leopard runs beautifully on it (picture taken before it was installed tho)...

Here's mine...

Desk is a mess and no idea where my camera is, so this pic is from my iPhone. That's my newly purchased MacPro under the desk, and the old faithful PowerBook to the right.

Not that I know of. I was just using the Apple keyboard because I like the feel of the keys better. I'm typing on the Logitech keyboard right now.

Doesn't anyone else think that these are ghastly and belong in hospital waiting rooms?

No way! I love them. My Uni. library back in Boston had them too and they're great. I love snuggly in a large comfy chair and the mini desk this great for a macbook or a giant cup of latte.

A few big changes to mine. a new desk, the glass one was getting boring and wobbly, the new wireless keyboard (best one ever) and a new camera - no lens yet though...

Bye

Just wanted to show the new skin for my blackbook. It is from gelaskins, artist is Greg "Crayola" Simkins.

As a reminder, my old skin was Mona Lisa from decalgirl.

This is it (same picture as the one from my other thread):

20" 2.4 GHz. iMac, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB hard drive, 500 GB external LaCie hard drive. Connected to Internet through an AirPort Extreme Base on a 20/2 cable connection. Also connected to the APEB are two 160 GB external Iomega hard drives. Printer and scanner are both HP. :apple:

I think we should have a new thread of "what your setup REALLY looks like" as opposed to all of these posed shots that look as though you people really do live in a freakin' museum!

Now that new camera has arrived, I will have to take semi-decent shots of all my stuff, but for now I am playing with Photomerge;

(on the full-size 10MP shots you can read every letter of my IRC conversation...)

What kind of desk is that? Looks great.

just to clarify, it's an ikea jerker. for some reason ikea decided not to sell them anymore. so i guess you can call it a collector's item :)

i have the same one but in black instead of the lighter beech wood.

I didn't want to mention the name :cool: I removed all the holders that came with it (for CDs, magazines, etc.) and used the metal plate connecting the two uprights (under the desk) to attach a huge power strip with surge protection.
