Sorry for the terrible quality, my camera is talking a trip to london with my girlfriend so I had to live with taking a picture with my K610i.

Can someone recommend a table? I use to use an Ikea Vikka that I bought from somebody used locally but I don't want to pay the shipping on a new one as I sold the last one. I'm in Chicago and I'm looking for a table to work on. Don't need anything wider than 48"'s really.

Very nice desk what is that and what did it cost?

A few big changes to mine. a new desk, the glass one was getting boring and wobbly, the new wireless keyboard (best one ever) and a new camera - no lens yet though...

Hi! I recently joined Macrumors and looking through this thread there's some great setups! Makes mine look like crap. >_> Err reading back on this, apparently people put their age too? Ok, I'm 18.

Picked up my first Mac in August, Macbook! (specs in sig) The desk is crap, and soon I'll replace it. 19" Dell LCD that I'm hooking up with the mini dvi cable I ordered. Should be here by monday. Plus a Nintendo DS and Ipod Nano 2Gb. I plan on picking up some logitech 5.1 speakers, a wireless mighty mouse, 500gb external hdd, and a copy of leopard (still running tiger) once I get the money together. Won't be long. :)

This is my TV and Wii/Xbox360 along with my previous desktop PC. (specs in sig) It's a pretty good PC, although it's rather loud, and it just can't play the latest PC games well. So I'm giving it to my little brother as his first computer once I pick up an external hardrive. I'm using it for backup right now. Eventually I plan on building a new gaming computer. :)

I don't believe I've posted since I bought my Al iMac a couple months ago. Also, work replaced my old PowerBook with a MacBook Pro (Core 2 Duo, not Santa Rosa, sadly...but still a great machine).

Past workstation shots are on my web site.

I really like your desk, its the sort of size and finsish that Im looking for
Where abouts did you get it and what kind of 'under-desk' storage does it has, ie drawers and cupboards etc
Amazing set up btw ;)
Thanks

Thanks! Actually, I built this desk myself one Saturday this past summer. The surface is comprised of four 1x8" white pine boards; they are glued and screwed to a frame of 1x2s that runs around the edges and has three additional cross-supports running front-to-back. Four basic metal legs hold it up. The only storage I have is a separate rolling filing cabinet I got from Staples years ago.

The varnish on it is a nice matte satin; however, it's very soft and I think I'm going to have to refinish it. It soaks up just about anything, so there's some stains on it already. I left my headphones sitting face-down on it for a couple hours and came back to find two black circles (from the foam ear protectors) soaked into the varnish.

This is my setup. Just a desk and a MacBook. Her name is Seraphim.
(Oh, and a Kensington lock to guard her against thieves. My LoJack software is in the mail...)
