I have a bit of a silly question for you, but here it goes;

As a new homeowner, I am pretty meticulous about how things look (and rather tidy). You seem to be much of the same based on the quick snapshots, but I wanted to see if you had any problems with noticing dust or anything of the sort (fur from cats, etc.) all over the dark wood floor?

I swiffer at least once a week and it keeps things clean. I also have it hand washed monthly.....

----------

Do you race?

Also, is that an electric fireplace?

I don't race, but I do alot of "Track Days"

Yes, the fire-place is electric ; )

Ugh, i need to go back through and take some update photos of this cave:

We have been renting a duplex for about a year now that featured a partly finished basement. Walls are pretty much seal and painted foundation, literal cave.

Here's mine.

Basically I bought a log-cabin style garden shed - the kind with very thick, solid wood as opposed to cheap fence panel type wood. I then converted the inside of it into a proper room with decent damp proofing and insulation.

I've not actually got any current photos (It's a bit of a mess) however have it as my office, along with a chillout room with a RepRap, TV, aquarium, etc.

Photos of it can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/rickmills/sets/72157629948990620/

And a build log here: http://buildgardenoffice.blogspot.co.uk/

I'll give it a tidy next weekend and get some photos done :p

The World Inbetween
I don't have a man cave. I live in a box on a farm in the middle of no where. I can post a picture of my box if you really like.

I guess my man cave is outside, in the infinite stillness and quiet. It's just a shame there's so much light pollution from the steel mill and the steel mill, kind of ruins any stargazing opportunities.
