this is man cave is bigger then my apartment in Boston. My fiancé and I are looking for homes now so hopefully I get a man cave. Tho in the Boston area the places are so small that the outlook looks grim.

Did a little maintenance on my gaming rig (pictures in sig)... drained the 10 month old water, and filled it with fresh water. While I was at it, finally got a chance to clean my hiding place a little more. A lot of IKEA furniture... LOL...

My kid playing a little GTA V on the TV tonight...

That bookcase/TV stand looks great. Is it something you built yourself?

Post your man cave

layed up from surgery so been putting in a bit of work on the stereo side. My gf said I could only do component surround if it was totally stealth. Ran conduit and loom up and down every board on the white book case.

You can still spot 1 or 2 wires that I still need to clean up but there are about 40 wires connecting everything in the back. Hard wire ether net to every component going through the switch. Tucked the side channels behind stuff, and used rear channels as little shelves for souvenirs from our trips abroad.

Also went under the house and ran a conduit to each rear channel, and back up to my router. Next up is 50 foot hdmi, and conduit to my Imac mounted on the wall so I can use the 4k TV as a computer monitor.

Components used are mid range Sony 7.1 channel receiver, and energy take 5.1 surround speakers with 10 inch sub.

Sounds absolutely amazing. Me and my neighbor are no longer talking since I got this thing hooked up.

I'm not sure you should ever put anything on top of your receiver, especially other electronic components. Hot air rises and needs to be free to mingle.

There is still about 12 inches of vent behind speaker. The speaker only sits on about 2 inches of the vent.

Looks great. Love those patio doors.

Really nice place. I think I like the ceiling window above th kitchen the most!

Thanks. The new patio doors should be great come summer. The Velux roof windows were a last minute decision, on day 1 of the kitchen fit we decided to have the ceilings lifted and Velux windows installed which added a week onto the project.

New blinds now fitted...

Glass splashbacks to match patio doors were delivered the wrong size so are having to be remade...
