The good side of the grass.
Nice T-Bird. What happened to your Bonnie? Did you trade her in?

I couldn't bring myself to do it. She's been a fantastic & reliable bike. I also put on a Corbin, rack, TOR's, AI removal, Airbox removal, K&N's w. new shims/needles in carbs, center stand, chrome pieces..... Too pretty and too dear to me to part with. Rode her last weekend and was kind of like a trail bike compared to the Thunderbird though. 750lb compared to 440 will feel that way.;)

Lol. Good man! Now maybe you should add a Scrambler and a Thruxton to your collection ;)

By the way, you should check out Triumph Rat forums if you haven't done so already (which judging by your mods you most probably have done and if I had to hazard a guess I'd say you're NCBonnieGuy).

That would be me! All my forum user names start with NC.,.... because I can't remember diddly except the state I'm most in. RAT forums are not my friend..... GirlScouts.;)

At my advanced age, cruisers are suiting me best. Nice thing about the Bird is it can air the wheel hitting second w. a hard throttle and gives me a jolt of adrenaline.:D

Just about done here:

Fast bike, plenty of fun.

Dude ... I have nightmares watching a few friends wiping out at the Orillia Honda Ride track back in the day. Heck a similar bike in the early 90's wiped the black off a friend of mine because he got cocky thinking he's experienced enough to ride with shorts. I didn't see it happen, but being black myself he was courages enough to swallow the pride to show me his hip ... I only saw white flesh just before the tendor tissue beneath it just ready to bleed. Yeah he had trouble even walking for days.

2-Stroke is hell after a woman scorned has had her way with it.

Yes, I know first hand how quickly you can go from having a blast to being laid out on the ground wondering what just happened.. I'm sorry to hear about your friend, if something like that were to happen to me I would be scared to ride hard again!

Just because you are old you don't have to ride boring machines.

My first bike (of 20 total so far) in 1957, an Allstate Puch "twingle" 175cc two stroke.

My current ride, 2008 Triumph Street triple 675cc.
