I use the Logitech MX Air for my MacBook Air and the wireless mighty mouse on my MacBook Pro.

What the H*** is the thing next to the mouse?

It's a ball joint tripod head to mount a camera on a tripod. Quite what it is doing in a picture in a Post Your Mouse thread is anyone's guess, especially given how only half (I assume) of the mouse itself is in the picture
