can someone give me a link to a guide on how to unlock (or jailbreak?) the ipod touch to allow me to put apps on it and were do I get all of these apps? Thanks!

You know, the search function isn't far away... The forum is littered with posts and guides for the jailbreak procedure - it's not that difficult to find. Either on the first or second page lol.

About that FINDER
Well, that Finder icon refers to "MobileFinder" app, and it IS some sort of Finder!
One can actually browse the filesystem of the IPT, and there are other functions (just installed and launched it). Of course, no drag&drop (so far...).

you need a property list editor and I don't know of one for windows.

I'm working on a freakin high quality theme man! Here is a teaser for ya. All my icons are done in 1280x1256 resolution and then downsized using anti-alias-ed-ness! Here is the teasa...

BTW, it's called Glass, obviously you can see why. It's a very simple theme but it looks pretty awesome. I'm using Ryan's Vista M8 theme as a base for it, I will eventually have it all together. I'm spending some good time (wutever time I can find) on it and I think it will be done either tuesday night or around Friday.

What's the maximum size I can use for an icon? I have been using 55 by 54 then I saw people using 60 by 59 and 59 by 60. I'm assuming 60 by 60 is the max?
Yeah, um... hate to break it to you, but it wouldn't matter if you did your icons at 3000x300 resolution, when you scale them down, they look the same as if they came from, say, a 128x128 image. Don't waste your time.
What I mean by using such a high size is that I'm getting into great detail, like with shadowing and stuff. Understand that when you make an image smaller, especially 60 by 60, you can't see some of those details, but it's good to know that they are there and you look carefully you can see them, even if they don't look too good they are there. I'm changing my icon sizes to 60 by 60 makeing the glass frame just a bit smaller than that. It doesn't cover the font so it's good. And I'm changing my pre image size to 800 by 800, I'll at least be able to make them on my macbook's screen on the go.
