i didnt realise it was working on the touch, thanks, though whatever i change 9carrier / wifi etc) nothing seems to change and no setting for the ipod text :S
make a png file 25x20 save it as FSO_CARRIER_IPOD.png (use white colored text) and Default_CARRIER_IPOD.png (use black colored text) and sftp them to System\Library\CoreServices\SpringBoard.app (probably a good idea to rename the originals for backup).

i'm really sorry if this has been answered before, but i have gone through PAGES of other threads looking for the answer, and I'm gettinbg tired :S.
when I try to access my iPod touch through cyberduck, I keep getting the emssage "Unexpected end of SFTP stream". I tried using cyberduck and Cute FTP. I'm using SFTP, with user root, password alpine.
all I want to do is put summerboard on manually.
Any ideas?
ps. from what i understand, summerboard and customize do different things. can i run them both at the same time?

Is there any way to hide the Installer app without putting it on another page? It's very disturbing to my (future) iTouch zen.
Theres gotta be a way somewhere out there...im not too sure right now though.

Here is another little teaser of how my theme is going. I have a surprising amount of more time than I thought I would.
It's the installer icon. Most of my icons (all of em, :rollseyes
are done in photoshop cs. They are made out of simple shapes and done with layer enhancements. The theme is going with a glass background, then a black base image, then red details. So far so good, I have about 1/3rd of my theme done.
