Unless the screenshots show new Mavericks features, I see no point in this topic. So far, I think only one meets the point, showing Finder tabs - so thanks to the poster of that particular one.

Odd question, but did you manually add the key dates such as 'British Summer Time ends', 'Halloween' etc in your calendar, or were they automatically there? I've not noticed this in my calendar, but would be handy to have. Thanks :D

It's Apple's UK Holidays calendar: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/calendars/unitedkingdomholidaycalendar.html

God, think I must've been using it since Panther/Tiger - very handy to have!

Right below Show Birthday Calendar in the Calendar preferences there's another setting for a calendar that adds that to Mavericks Calendar. I'm using the Danish calendar because my regional settings are Danish. Despite my change to English UI the calendar still showed me Danish events. While you're at it turn on weeknumbers too, also in Calendar Preferences - or not. Your choice.

Thanks for replying back :) Turned on 'Holidays' under the Calendar preferences but it doesn't show at all on the month or day view. I'll try figure out later, best not hijack this thread. ;)

finally got the dock tweaked. To do so in Mavs you have to use three techniques to change those icons; one trick works on one, another works somewhere else. Probably CandyBar would do it all..

Mind going more into that?
