Mine came with a 2GB card and I've not really filled it up yet. Yep, I've just been copying manually by mounting it as a mass storage drive which is ok but I'd prefer it if they released some Mac compatible software. I tried using iTMW but it didn't seem to work very well.
It's a very nice looking phone and very slim. It's also got a cool feature, TrackID, where you can record a couple of seconds of a song and it'll then connect to the Internet and get you the name. Pretty useless, of course, but cool nonetheless.![]()
Well yours is also a SE A2 (A200) platform phone. New generation for short. its also compatible with the 8GB M2 card. I have the added benefit of also being able to use a MicroSD card or the M2 cards. But because mine is still branded, RSS Feeds are gone - cannot even save bookmarks of RSS Feeds, as well as TrackID is also removed by Rogers Wireless. I can flash it to a non-branded firmware - but I'm going to wait a bit longer.
TrackID is VERY useful. For example, I've been listening to the evolution of house music in all forms since 1987 (heck its all Disco/Funk/Columbian Salsa to me anyway). Back then I heard a about 3 songs that I can only HUM since then and couldn't find the names or the artists (they where originally released as "white-labels" and remained that way for 5yrs); because I didn't know them. Finally I tried TrackID. Took 2 times per song because I played it off of horrible computer speakers but it worked FLAWLESSLY in identifying them. Found 2/3 of those songs on iTunes and now I'm content with quality AAC versions
For those of you that would like such a feature, and if you phones support MIDP 2.0 of Java (most phones do), then you can use the .jar/.jad file from Motorola to do the same thing. Yes its free as well.
