that's why you buy them unlocked from europe. with the exception of the iphone, i haven't owned a locked carrier phone since 2001.
Haven't posted in a while. Here are my iPhone, Nokia E61, and Nokia 3250.
My other phones are the Danger Sidekick 3, Nokia 6126, Motorola K1m, Nokia 1110i, Nokia 3310, and a lot of old CDMA clunkers that I plan on selling so I can get a nice 3G phone for when I go to Asia this spring.
Any suggestions?

these are my phones. they just keep growing bigger and bigger.
starting from the right:
Konka something. this other chinese phone i got. the mic doesn't work anymore.
Toshiba SmarTone. came from Hong Kong. It still works, and serves as a backup phone.
Apple iPhone. my current phone and it's awesome! at the time of posting it's on 1.1.4, BL 3.9 downgraded, week 50. What's special is that I got it from Apple's HQ in Cupertino.

Samsung SCH - W330, one of the UGLIEST phone I have ever seen to my tastes.
I prefer a flip phone or an iPhone/Sidekick like design but the slide is alright if it's like a chocolate. The shape and the material/color scheme for this phone is totally off.
My parents wanted me to buy a cheap phone... so... damn.
Btw, that heart is one of those point/cash scan thingy lol. Has anyone seen these phone in real life or used one, I think the UI is like the Version one except it just looks prettied up but just as slow and confusing lol.
It also came with a transparent white plastic case that I thought it would be too ugly to post and I realized it's a pointless marketing scheme. Why protect a phone from a scratch when the protector it self makes the phone dirtier and uglier?

The 905i is pure sex. The only thing preventing me from picking one up is its spotty reliability once unlocked.
Agreed - but the PSS SIM for the 904SH is in my SH905i and I haven't lost signal once. 3G and 2G both reliable...

Either way ... stange you have the 8820 & the iPhone? Is that not a conflict of user interest ?
I'm a little worried about buying a phone that was designed for the Japanese market. Does it also have GSM? Do I need to unlock it myself? It's also rather expensive and large.
Any other suggestions?
