I want a phone that looks nice, not just some POS phone off the clearance rack. I do care about features, too, though.
I'm planning on switching to T-Mobile with my dad and I'd like to get a PEBL, but if my dad won't pay for it, then I'll just get a RAZR or another phone if they release more. I like the RAZR, but it is too common. I think I read that it's the most popular cell phone ever. I prefer the Sanyo KATANA if I'm going into the ultra slim flavor, but Sanyos are exclusive to CDMA, specifically Sprint. I do like the V3i ----- the branded ones. I've been reading tooonnns of horror stories about buying a V3i off eBay unlocked.
As for the LG Chocolate, I don't like that phone. They totally copied the click wheel. I also don't like this new Verizon interface they're putting into phones. Speaking of UI's, that's another important thing to me. The Motorola interface is great compared to these Samsung ones with the piano keypad and rainbow menus. Somebody was spending way too much time eating Lucky Charms.
I was really looking forward to the iPhone being released today, but of course it wouldn't be. If one is released, I'll only buy it if it's worth the money.
