Great work. How did you do the rays in the last picture?
Mind boggling! Not really edited in Photoshop... but made in Photoshop... Boredom strikes again.
just finished this for school - it's a formula one board game. My graphics coursework
will upload a photo of it and also the box design tomorrow
Shouldn't the pitlane slow you down instead of let you advance farther?
It depends on what you want to do?is it hard to create such a pics like these? how long does it take?
Some of you might remember this from April 1st.

The image on the computer screen was made using a combination of PhotoShop to piece different screen shots together, ShapeShifter to get the Leopard Interface, and Xcode to make a little program that does absolutly nothing for the Windows icon on the dock.
LOL, I just noticed an error. Both the text edit and Dashcode windows are in the foreground.
Can you link me to that ShapeShifter theme?
It depends on what you want to do?
My 'Quick Splatters ID' only took 15 or so minutes, as it was just photoshop brushes layered up, with a nice stencil font on top. As for my other layering piece (posted a while back) took a while, as each layer was built on top of each other, and a lot of playing around with items incurred (moving/transforming/etc).
However when you start, it's obviously going to take a while, especially getting used to the software's interface and features.

yep thats right but the squares are actually smaller than the big ones
Cheats wayHow do you make a splatter in photoshop anyway? If it were up to me I'd probly google splatter then work off that, but that's not the right way at all lol. I could never understand how a splatter could be made
Cheats way
Download ready made brushes from internet like suggested.
Proper way (By Using Custom Brushes)
Create splatter on paper using paint/spray cans/etc.
Scan or photograph these and put onto computer.
In photoshop tweak (brightness contrast etc).
If only a section is required, use the lasoo tool to do this.
Go to "Edit" - "Define Brush".
Use the brushes freely to build layers of 'splatter'.
Hope this helps.
