trash can i made for the dock.
well technically for a dockx skin i made.

anybody read japanese?
something bu sheng. It's been a while.

How did you create that background. I see it all over the place from TV, web etc. Is it a shape or something. I know their is something similar but when i attempted to fill it in, it does the whole thing not everyother color.
I created one a while ago and now everytime I wan it I just grab the psd and import it, but it's pretty simple.
Make a path that's a very long triangle that goes up to down, just like the one in my picture, then duplicate that layer and flip it vertical and put the 2 path's so they're point to point. merge them together and duplicate, then transform and rotate 90 degress so you have a cross basically, all points intersecting in the middle. merge them all together, duplicate and then free transform and rotate, make sure to hold the shift key so everything is on a very even axis (holding shift constrains rotating to 15 degree increments)
just keep repeating until you have a full one, and then a simple circle shape in the middle to finish it off.

hmm, what's that translated into english?

I can tell you what the kanji characters mean. bù means not, shàng means something like on top or topside or something in that direction. I can't be sure though, and these are very basic characters, which says a lot about my Chinese.

hah, well at least you know something, I have no clue. I just did a whole lot of searching because I don't know any kanji and found some images of trashcans in china or japan and when I found 2 different pictures that appeared to have the same characters I took them and rendered them. So I was hoping it meant trash or garbage can. hah, i hope it doesn't though, I hope I was way off because that's just funnier.
I do have a read and write chinese book that I've had for a couple of years, but I couldn't find any of those words in it.
hmm, well wait, you said what bu and shang meant (sorry no accents), are there 3 characters there or 2 though? I know some words are made up of 2 characters combined so I'm just spitballing here.

Orb type avatars I created for me & my friend.

In Japanese it reads, "Fire, Tree, Earth" "火、木、土". So in essence, nothing. If you want it to say "trashcan", just type "塵入" or "gomiire" or if you want, empty is からぽう and full is あふれでる。
