Another Corner

My Olivetti L1 MP Mini Computer that doesn't work :( I have 2 spare PSU's that I hope to get 1 running from.
Atop That are some old laptops that are getting ebayed and the Olivetti terminal atop a switcher.
Next to the Olivetti is the original Mac carry bag currently full of power cords.
On the right of the Olivetti is my Stereo and under that are boxes full of Computer stuff
You Might notice the Mac OSX public beta above the Ollivetti's monitor

Next up is my "Wall" above the stereo.
It has an Amstrad PPC 640 - untested
A commodore 64 - working complete system
Above that an Amiga 500 - working
An Oric Atmos
Next to these are:
Mac 512k logic board
A phillips PDA - broken because it has fallen off the wall so many times!
Black PPC Performa 5400 - Not working - No photo sorry

What really does tend to piss me off is when people with their fancy MacBooks think a PPC Mac is old.

WTF?

Do you consider a PC with an Athlon 64 X2 old? No. Do you consider a 1.67GHz PBG4 old? Apparently.

Not angry or anything, that just always confused me. :p

Of course, 68k Macs ARE old.

The title said PPC, so that's what got posted :p .

I consider my Compaq Evo quite old and that's from early 2002 like the older iMac.

Wow, that's an awesome picture.

If your monitor is fairly lo-res, I accidentally took a really cool picture for desktop wallpaper!!!

Two Mac IIcx's.

No, I was saying it would look sh*tty if displayed at 1280x960.

Y'all like it? It was shot with a digicam from about 2001.

iMPathetic, how do you have so many Macs? Are you a collector, or did you just have that many Macs?

If I were you, I'd sell them all and buy a Mac Pro or an iMac at least.

They are all nice though.

I am not a collector.

I just sort of have a knack for acquiring free stuff.

Jew magic, I call it.

If I had that much I would sell it and buy a MacBook Pro. But I would keep my PowerBook and but sell my iBook after having it fixed.

Got a 12" iBook G4 I bought about 5 months before the macbooks came out. At first that kind of bugged me but I love the size and design of my iBook :) Also if I'm working on my bed and my feet get cold I have a habit of resting my feet on the palmrests to warm them up, would've cracked a Macbook for sure

Changed the apple logo to pink (not my iBook, camera battery's dead)

If I was going to buy an old mac for collector's sake it would be the clamshell iBook. Used a tangerine one at school and I loved that thing. I thought it was the most beautiful computer I'd ever seen

Can't bear to part with the iBook... :(

But you would with a 1.67 GHz PowerBook? I like PowerBooks better than iBooks. Or is it the small size?

If my iBook worked I would probably add internal bluetooth or wireless usb because when I took it apart to try to fix it I found a unused plug and I found out it was a USB port. I would probably add an antenna port too so I could add external antennas for better WiFi reception. I have seen people pipe the wire out the keyboard but that would put marks on the screen since mine is a 14 inch so I would pipe it out a vent on the side. Also maybe a 1280*1024 screen too.

I love my iBook so much because it's the only computer I've kept for more than about four months.

My iBook has been a bigger money pit than my PB that is why I want to fix it for once and get rid of it! I will fix you and sent you back where you came from iBook! 2 $310 repairs at once vs lots of small things ($100 keyboard $130 battery $50 hard drive 2 $80 power supplies and now a $500 logic board repair.)
