What are the four cubes?

They're childhood toys produced by Radica Games. Each cube has a low res dot-matrix display and contains a character with unique objects. The characters in the red and yellow have a ball and rope respectively, and the blue and magenta have exercise and audio equipment. The cubes connect using magnets on all four sides surrounding the front, and the characters can visit each other using these connections.

I work from home, so home/work is the same desk. rMBP is work machine, personal Mac Pro 5,1 is off camera along the side of the desk.

Pano of my office. 27" iMac is my wife's.
