Okay you guys, so you know how they say that tattoos are addictive?
Its sorta true!
Maybe its not that they're "addictive", so much as it is that you come to realize that you don't LIKE they way that they look, but you LOVE the way that they turn out and you also realize that it doesn't hurt like some say they do and thus the inhibition to get them is lost after that realization?
Insight! Message!!! LOL
Anyhow, I have 3 (and they all mean something and are very personal and my big tattoo is an original; I would never "pick from the wall")
Me and 6 friends all got this same paw print (but in diff locs and colors) because we all became friends thru and religiously volunteer our time to the same Animal Shelter.
It looks pretty dry but despite how it looks there, it healed totally solid and great.
(it was still "icky" in that pic)
Stars are a personal thing between my mother and myself. Its sort of like a bond-thingie... i dunno... its tough to put into words, but stars hold importance for us
This is my big tattoo (tho the pic is teensy); it was taken with a phone right after I got it. I now realize that I need to get on taking a new pic of it! LOL
It means "The dynamics of Love". The arrows are symbolic of many things and are an important piece to the design.
My Fiance, Brian is working on a full sleeve on one arm and he's got a Star with a "C" in the middle (for me!
) and a Sun on the same arm (but I've gotta grab some pics of those guys).
Here's his partial sleeve; its a work in progress, as you can see.
He's very into the bio-mechanical theme and if you're having a hard time grasping what's goin on there, locate the skulls and the rest of it is design work.
