It's a race between me giving up on a dream and cancelling the thing (because of the screen issues), and them actually shipping it.

Yes that's a slip from the 01 - 02 Oct it said before, though curiously the shipping date has stayed the same, maybe it's fixed rather than variable.
Don't know what to do, I'm hoping the delay is so that they can fix the screen issues or is that wishful thinking?
I don't mind if it's dodgy if they'll be willing to replace it later, but I have this feeling they'll deny all knowledge, call BS and refuse to do anything. Would love to hear a statement from The Steve.
