My PC I built a few years ago while in 8th grade

Some specs:

Intel P4 2.8 overclocked at 3.2, socket 478
ATI x800 xt pe
1 gb ram

This thing was a beast for gaming when I built it.

Wow, all that power and you're using 3 years old GPU...
Radeon 5750 is dirt cheap nowadays.

For what I'm doing right now, it works just fine. I'm planning on upgrading sooner or later after I upgrade to more RAM.

I just gotta figure out how to get a full size graphics card to fit in my case with the hard drive cage still in side.
It's gonna be a challenge.

Last week, my friend and I started our summer project. We're working for a local nonprofit that provides food, toys, books, games, clothes, etc. to underprivileged families, and we've expanded their program to include computers. They gave us a room in their facility to work in (their "facility" is a church) and we take in donations of working and nonworking computers, as well as working peripherals, refurbish whatever computers are not working, and get them ready for donation. Unfortunately it's pretty much all PCs, but I thought it was interesting enough for posting here.

Apologies for the quality, they were taken with an Android phone

That's my friend in the pics. Don't worry, I made sure to get his permission before posting :D

These pics aren't current, actually. They're from late last week. Already we've got a lot more computers, so I'll try to take a few more photos tomorrow.

That really has nothing to do with the quality of the picture. My brother's Android phone takes fantastic photos. Besides, it all pales in relativity to, say, a real camera. Everything's terrible in relativity, even the new iPhone. Oh yes. I said it.

Anyways, sounds like an awesome project! I've done similar stuff in the past and it's always good fun and appreciated. Have fun with it!

I feel as though the sound quality on the 27 inch iMac is already pretty great. It lacks a little bit of bass, but I can't afford to drown out my neighbors-- who live right across the wall-- with large subwoofers.
i do agree. the sound quality is quite acceptional! too bad im a picky bastard and cant stand ugly sound though

stuff the neighbours! i guess you could invest in some nice headphones (in ears ftw)

Nah, I know, I just had to put in a bad word for Android. :p
