Picked up 3 BenQ XL2420T 120hz 2ms Professional Gaming Monitors on sale for a really good price. My rig was long overdue (2 years) for a tri-surround setup. Next, I'm updating my rig with 3 GTX 780's next week, and in September... Ivy Bridge e 4930k and Asus RIVE mobo. That should feed my 120hz monitors with some good FPS.:p

In all her glory. My T410. I know this is sacrilegious, but this Thinkpad is the best computer I've ever owned, never a hardware problem, never a software/Windows problem, never a virus. I've been very very very impressed. I do wipe it clean every 6 months though with a fresh install which helps a lot. Can't wait for another Mac one day though. This machine has done everything I've asked it to and more. Never even a power shortage when running 4-5 Vm's at once with Windows itself working hard. I'd love to test drive an i7 MBP though. I bet I'd be even more impressed. :p

What game is that on the iMac?

I have those speakers and that keyboard... keyboard rocks. Speakers are nice too, but I'm going to get some A2s this year.

Yeah, the keyboard is phenomenal.

The speakers I just bought to have some, since anything was going to be better than the build-in from the laptop. But they've really grown on me, the sound is great at a pretty low price for the speakers+sub. I might get a new set later this year since I'm an audiophile. :D

Hi,

If I may ask, how do you go about getting your Lenovo to work with it closed and still being able to use it with the Dell monitor?

Hi

The Lenovo is just installed in a docking station like the one in the top left corner here:

My monitor, speakers, mouse and keyboard is just connected to the dock, so whenever I put the laptop in it, it will be connected to all the peripherals.

This is "Odin" our Windows based media server...recently installed a new LB, but the Graphics card drags her down a little in the index....This computer has a HUGE collection of movies, TV shows etc. etc.

The old Acer 19 4:3 is used to monitor temperatures etc...the other monitor is an Iilyama 27" 1080P

in power management settings you can change what the computer does when the lid is closed. basically you set it from sleep to do nothing and it will keep running with the lid closed.
