Picked up a free older Pentium 3 system.I gutted and sold the internals and upgraded it. Installed a modular power supply, Asus Prime B250-Plus Motherboard with an Intel G4560 CPU, 16GB DDR4 2400MHZ ram and a 1050TI with 4GB of vram. Runs windows 10 on a 240GB SSD.

Here is a video of my setup and how the desk was put together.

The desk isn't anything particularly fancy, but has a lot of real estate area.

Current PC setup. It's a prebuild but it's spec'd really well. Ryzen 7 1700X, 32GB RAM, Radeon RX580 8GB, 2 256GB M.2 SSDs and a 2TB HD.
Right on. I quite like the stealthy look that the case gives the build. And it's a Ryzen build, too! Sick!

Is it for gaming or for work? Or both?

Both. I do more VMs and heavy multitasking than I game though. I love Ryzen machines and have become quite a fanboy of AMD in the last year.

Looking forward to the new Nvidia gpus this year. Hope to do my first PC build in ages.

Just bought a windows laptop to re-familiarize myself with the OS.

Windows is still absolute trash compasered to OSX, but in reality I am beginning to care more about the capabilities vs the aesthetics.

Gone all in on Windows this year.

Replaced my old Mid 2011 iMac with a Dell Inspiron 5675 PC, AMD Ryzen 7, 16GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 1060, 256GB SSD/1TB spinner + 34" LG Ultrawide monitor

Gifted the 12.9 iPad Pro to the wife and treated myself to a Surface Book 2 for my birthday.

Loving the change so far..

I bought an HP x360 Spectre customized from HP. I'm loving the touchscreen as well as the ability to highlight and take notes on any documents or spreadsheets or even web articles and then send them to others. Doing photo editing with the pen takes it to a whole other level. I still have an use a MacBook Pro, but it just seems so yesterday now.

That's identical to what I have except I still have the stock HD in mine. I'll probably eventually get the m.2 SSD but I'm in no hurry to do so. I don't really use it for anything that needs speed. I just bought this model because I liked the look of it and it was on sale at BestBuy and it's upgradeable. I have a 4K HDR 28" Samsung monitor to go with it.

It's a good PC. Mine is not so stock anymore though. I can't leave things alone.

Curious why you have both the Cisco video phone and specific eye for VC above the LCD? Guess you got one before the other.

Nice on the green!

The webcam is for Skype as the phone's camera can't be used for that. I usually keep it unpluggged unless I'm using it as it makes autofocus clicking sounds every now and then, even when not in use.
