Prepared for Shipment

32 GB WiFi only ordered on the 19th still "Not Yet Shipped." My credit card had a hold placed on it immediately and then the hold was removed and still hasn't been charged yet.
I know I shouldn't be getting worried since there's still a week left and my order status still says Delivered By April 3 but all these people saying theirs are changed to "Prepared for Shipment" is getting to me. I reordered mine on March 23rd so I'm sure mine will change by Tuesday or so. Anyone else getting a little worried that their status hasn't changed yet?
The orders actually opened at 8:30am ET on the 12th, so I'd say you're 24 hours and 23 minutes behind, my friend.

Me too! Prepared for Shipment, baby!Honestly, I wouldn't worry. Most of these people probably ordered minutes after you could which is why they are seeing theirs prepared. My guess that it's going in order of first come first serve.
I switched my order on the 22nd to the 32GB and mine still says "Not Yet Shipped" If you bought yours prior to today, Apple advertised clearly that you would receive it on April 3rd.
I highly doubt that will change especially when they were getting 5000-7000 orders a day for the last few weeks. People would get pretty upset
you guys are nut. you will get it sooner or later. ipad will be everywhere in a few weeks. what are all of the "mine shipped, mine delivered, ..."? after all, it is a different device to browse/read the same web/book. you use a mouse to browse. now you use your fingers. you flip your finger on book pages. now you flip with your finger. what is the fuss about?
Nuts or not these type of threads are going to continue for at least the next week.
Means i don't have to print out over 200 pages of PDF's to cart around with me... and my bag gets smaller.
I"m soooo looking forward to it. And just think, for the first few weeks or so i have to share my DD's. Lucky for me, she needs the same PDFs
It doesn't need "calming". A bunch of us are excited about this new product. For me, sharing the excitement is camaraderie I'd be missing by not standing in line.
Anyway, this is the "Prepared for Shipment" thread. The "I don't get what all the fuss is about." thread is down the hall and on the right...

ya know, I dont know why people come in the thread and try to disrupt the excitement. like weve been talkin about this since like, the day macrumors spoke of a special event january 27th, when everyone thought it would be new macbooks.
then finally stevie announce pady.
now were just waiting. almost here guys, almost here. around this time next week, alot of us will be typin from our WiFi iPad's. Ha.
Seriously, who needs to calm hype on an "iPad" forum? Of course you are going to see all these threads and more. This is an iPad forum. LMAO! Nothing you will do or say will stop any of these types of threads, nor will we stop seeing duplicate threads. Just the way it is.
That being said, I can't wait to pick mine up on Apple 3rd in-store! I'm going insane!
Is there something you get excited about? Anything? If so, please link me to a forum that you go to to share that excitement with like-minded people. I'd like to stop by and rain on your parade too. See how messed up that would be?
I'm excited that my status changed to prepared to ship today. I'm glad to be in a community with others also excited.
