imho, i agree with several other users...

Jaguar seems to have a lot more features packed into it vs. 10.1 which basically only included a speed upgrade... vs stuff like inkwell and quartz which are projects at apple which have probably been going on for a while.

therefore, i think that jaguar will be a paid upgrade for everyone... and because of this the price could possibly be cheaper, because more people are paying for it... but its hard to tell.. i think we'll have to wait on the price.

Um... maybe this was only in Switz, but 10.1 here was free. Show a coupon and you could walk out with one. Me and kevinibook share that experience... (I was sooo greedy and took 2 coupons & got two upgrades. It turns out 2 hours later they ran out... :D)

I think 10.2 will cost around $20, or if not free!

You're not the only one that got it free. I got mine for free. I didn't even have to show a coupon or an OSX box. They just gave it to me at the Reseller store. I think after a couple months that's when they decided to sell them.... kind of weird but people bought.

I say, Jaguar should be free for anyone who currently has 10.1

My friend was also unfortunate. Got his 550 powerbook 2 days before the new models were launched. Anyway, he got 9.2.2. OS 10.1.4 (the special build eMacs had) AND a developers CD.
