Hermès I picked up last week

I think the only really rare one I have is the sunset leather loop, which I love. But what I really want are the gold-hardware classic buckles that came with the original edition. those have gotta be the among the rarest bands...

Guys... This thread make my day. Not only it has given me a nice story for my podcast but also I have discovered that I have a little treasure at home: a 42mm 2017 Pride Edition band, still in its box, never opened. I will try to sell it for a decent amount of money... but I'm afraid I will spend this money in new bands!

That’s awesome! Though the bubble on old prides seems to have burst. Last sealed one I saw went for just under $70, when I used to see them go for over 100.

I wonder if you would be better off holding it until the next Pride release from Apple. I feel like I always see old Pride bands pop up for high prices on eBay each yeah when Apple releases a new one. I’m guessing people have attention drawn to the idea of Pride bands by the new release and start looking for other designs. Only anecdotal evidence to back that up. But, that has been my observation.

Thank you for the advice!

These aren’t unreleased. Left is called “flat silver/white” and was released in Fall 2016. Right is “obsidian mist/black” and is being sold currently.

Note the silver stainless steel pin on the band you’re saying is being sold currently, compared to the black steel on the pin in the photo, so you’re at least wrong there.

Incorrect. Left is Light Magnet/Pure Platinum and right is Magnet/Anthracite. It’s very obvious that the right isn’t obsidian mist/black becuase it has a black pin. And the left is far too dark to be flat silver.

I’m calling them Magnet Gray/Anthracite and Magnet Gray/Pure Platinum.

Flat Silver/White doesn’t have matching lugs. This is a slightly different colorway. It’s more of a green tint compared to flat silver.
Left to right...
Magnet, Flat Silver/Volt, Light Magnet, Flat Silver/White, and Light Bone/Black.

The other one isn’t Obsidian Mist. It’s a darker shade of Gray, has a black pin (obsidian mist has a silver pin) and doesn’t have the pink text printing Obsidian Mist has.
Left to right...
Light Bone, Desert Sand, Pure Platinum, Obsidian Mist, Magnet Gray, Celestial Teal, & Royal Pulse.
