What is your experience like with the male? Is he totally off the wall excited or will he lay down and be nice.
I live in an apartment and I am away 50 hours a week. 6:40am to 5pm so it is crucial that the dog be ok on his own. When I get home we'll go for a walk so he'll get out at least once a day 7 times a week.
My male is an extremely rare Jack Russell, but not because he is wire-haired, but because he is extremely laid back for a JR. My female, who is now a lot bigger than that picture, is...crazy. She is extremely hyper and I think it bothers my male because all he wants to do is chill out. They're great dogs, but make sure to get one of the laid back ones because the crazy ones need a lot of time and dedication or else they go nuts. They're great dogs, they just need a lot of attention.

Lovely dogs everyone. Here's Darby when she was a puppy. These photos are from December 2004; the first week she was home.

Darby's still a puppy, but she's full grown now. Here's a shot from a few months ago.

Jackson - 7 months

Hi,

love all the contributions...here's mine. His name is Jackson, a 90 lb Redbone Coonhound. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body and is a wonderful dog.

Bandit the hyper Yorkie

Here's Bandit, he's a purebred Yorkshire Terrier.

He's not a puppy anymore, but we just got his hair cut really short, so he looks like a puppy!

We're going to be buying a female very soon to help Bandit with his, ahem, urges, and so we can have some puppies of our own. I'll post pics of the new female when she comes.

That is a beautiful dog. Chocolate Lab, I didn't know about them. What type of temperament do they have?

This is my dog, Sam. First is Sam as a pup back in May 1998 (I think). Second is a pic my nephew took on his phone, makes me laugh every time I see it. :D

And last is Sam with his matted hair and ugly lips :p (Just back from the beach!)

Lovely CKC Spaniel! My last dog was a black Cocker, but I'm going to get a Cavalier as soon as reasonable. I like your tricolor, btw. Cav's seem to stay puppies forever :)

Sorry for the slow response.

Like all Labradors they have fantastic temperaments.
Except the gene that makes them brown also makes them a bit tapped, if you know what I mean. Caleb is very intelligent but has no common sense.
He still act like a 6 month old puppy which can be very amusing but also very painful, when all 86 lbs of him lands on your stomach first thing in the morning.

I much prefer chocolate Labs to yellow or black, they're more fun.

Oh my! Everyone has the cutest puppies and dogs.

Sooooo adorable.

Gotta say the first poster the Shiba Inu, never heard of that, but that is one very very cute dog.

I'll probably get a puppy sometime after Easter. I'm deciding whether to get a Brittany, Golden Retriever, or black Lab.

...Ok, so Roj isn't technically a puppy, BUT, he was raised by a couple of Bull Terriers and acts a lot like a dog, we got him when he was still very young and he wasn't at all timid like most rabbits, in fact he was very eager to come over and check us out when he first arrived. When alert he has a very aggressive stance that really resembles how dogs stand when alert with all his weight on his front paws and his ears pointing forwards. I'll get a shot of him standing like that next time I let him out. :)

My mother doesn't like dogs so this is as good as it gets for us.

She sure is :) One heck of a bread aren't they?

How big is your miniature Aussie? When I got her I was under the impression she was not a miniature, but she's only 40lbs, so how much smaller is yours?

He's 35lbs (Now 39 after eating 12 chocolate chip cookies! ) but he was the largest of the litter and he's a male. Our friends have a the runt female and shes about 20lbs. When Griffin is compared to a normal male ausi he's a lot smaller but compared to a female he's about the same size.

Yeah that makes sense, the male's are a lot bigger. If I remember correctly, a male Aussie is around 55lbs so that makes sense.

yep, males are about 50-60lbs. We almost got a tri but there was only one tri in the litter.

this was my dog

i had him for 1 year, and gave it away, cause my gf doesnt want him :(

its a Shi-Tzu, and for me, is the most beautifull Shi-Tzu in the world
Funny, always playing, and when i arrive home, he (notice i use the word "he", cause for me, was like my son) always used to jump and bring me all his toys (he had like 20 toys i bought for him)

once in a wild, i go to visit him where he live, with a very beautifull family
