You could very well be correct. We adopted her from the humane society, and thus, not knowing exactly what breeds her parents were, we don't know for sure. Beagle/German Shepherd were both guesses from the humane society and our vet

I/My parents have 2 half german shepard, half huskies. They're sisters.
I don't have any photos where they're posing well because it's hard to keep them still, but one of my dogs died last month. Had to be put to sleep.
Here's the one who died.
There are a lot of really beautiful (and cute) dogs and puppies on here.
My dog is a German Shepherd/Husky mix as well - she's going to be 13 this summer and she's still in pretty good shape. Yes that's a keg in the background ;-)
My avatar is also find a picture of a silly little dog taht followed me up a mountain in china.

Our dog would get excited and happy when we would go there, sometimes too excited and the vet would ask us to leave, but he pulled through, and I think it was in part because we visited him so often.

I thought that bulldogs are illegal to own in Ontario because of all the young children they've attacked, maimed and killed. Maybe I'm mixing it up with a different, yet similar breed though.

that may be for pitbulls. bulldogs are really cool dogs, they look mean but they are completely mellow and friendly dogs. pitbulls have a bad reputation for doing especially nasty things and totally shredding the people they attack.
(disclaimer: not all, but some. the breed's reputation has this stigma, as with a few other breeds, like rotweilers)

not to worry, just had to stick up for the bulldogs. i've known several and they were extremely cool dogs.

me too. our neighbors have rottweilers and while they look intimidating they are very pretty and generally cool dogs.
i just stay clear of owning breeds that have known tendencies to attack like that. plus our homeowners insurance goes up if we have one of those breeds. it's just not woth the hassle to me. <shrugs>
I feel for you, my best friends' dog had a similar condition and it was very hard to deal with. I hope you're doing well.

Yeah my mom was really upset. I still have my buddy,though, our black lab/golden retriever who is going on 12 and hopefully still has many more ahead of him. The vet said he had the blood work of a 1 yr old which was amazing.

Well its a very sad day. We got news this morning that he passed away last night. At least he had a fighting chance and a few days of a better life.
...sorry to hear the news...he was beautiful..., stupid animals, make you love them, and then they leave you...
