LOL, I don't know if I am going to be the ginny pig... I need my phone for work... darn this is tempting. I really want Netshare and I am on 2.0.1 It built the custom ipsw fine. Now I am kicking my own ass if I should or should not....

Hmmm no luck for me on my first two tries. Gave me an unknown error while attempting to prepare the iPhone to be restored. Kicked into recovery mode. Hmm might wait a bit. Attempting to put the original back on now... Damn! You should have seen my heart drop when the error screen came up..... :)

Try re-downloading the restore files through iTunes, that has helped me in the past.

It's restoring fine right now, I am speaking of the error on the custom firmware that iTunes gave. I might try again in the morning.

Please let me know anyone successfully jailbreaking 2.0.1 with this on a AT&T phone. I doubt that matters to much but just in case. Also, are you guys choosing to the activate tab when building the custom firmware. I am not being that I have a plan with AT&T and as the past manuals has said let iTunes do the activation. Looking forward to success stories!

Anyone updated yet?

Just want someone to go first!!!

My iphone and its restore file is waiting :p

LOL, I feel you. I think I am going to try again. Got an unknown error the first time. Just finished restoring back to original and built a new ipsw.... Here goes nothing... of course my wife could wake at any second and demand I shut down the computer...

can we just dload a custom file and throw it into itunes?
