Some issues with permissions and Mail if I recall. I never had any problems because I used QuickPwn yesterday instead.
I just had problems downloading the update through Sparkle and it extracting the update - try again.
so how do we update our 3G iphone for mac with this minor update? do we have to rebuild a custom restore again and restore thru itunes? Is there a way to update without losing all the jailbroken apps I just installed yesterday with the 2.0.3?

If it works and you're on firmware 2.0.2, then just leave it
nope, i need this update probably to fix that password saving problem we're having when we updated to pwnage tool 2.0.3. but I wanted to find out if there's an easier way to update without having to rebuild a custom restore and restoring thru itunes and then reinstalling the jailbroken apps again

There are easier ways to solve that problem if you SSH into the phone.
if anybody can show or point me how to do SSH.
I've installed OpenSSH and mobile terminal on my Iphone, I've even changed the password. I'm going to give this Netatalk app a try too but don't know where to begin. Is Fugu or Cyberduck better than Netatalk? All netatalk does is it let you view your iphone on the finder shared drive.
You will use the terminal on your mac with this command:
ssh root@<iPhone IP address>
However, I'm not sure what to fix once you're in.

my iphone stopped syncing with itunes on my user on my imac (it'll sync with other users and my macbook though), cant figure anything out so i'm just going to restore and pwn it again hoping that will work.
Mail crashing

After Jailbreaking with Pwnage 2.0.3, my mail.app consistently crashes after approximately 5 seconds. Is this also a permission issue and will Pwnage 2.0.3.1 fix this as well?
Haven't seen many people complaining of mail crashes, just password storage issues within mail.

I use Fugu.
1) Turn on OpenSSH on your phone and make sure it's on the same wifi as your computer.
2) Connect to the IP of the iPhone (you can find it in Settings) l/p = root/alpine port is 22 if it doesn't auto-fill
3) var/Keychains --> get info on the folder, change permissions to 0777
Yours is a whole wopping 0.1 KB/s faster than mine!

From what I heard this update fixes that password problem... correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

I'm going to skip this one and stick with vanilla 2.0.2... I was really put off by how buggy pwnage 2.0.3 was
Here's what I did
If you have Boss Pref's App loaded, go to the more tab. Under there just click on fix permissions. This will fix the email crashing. Worked for me. Might be easier that restoring again or SSHing in.
