I told it I didn't have a 3GS

Though it found the 1,2_3.1 file. so i guess its ok. But everything says 3GS and not 3G? I downloaded the official 3.1 Pwnage tool from TPB.

So when jailbreaking 3.1 from 3.0.1, will Cydia remember the apps I purchased from them, ie 3G unrestrictor?. Or does it keep everything the same like an update through iTunes?

The S is in the brackets, so it means for the 3G or the 3GS.

I have also just completed this. Working fine on 3.1

It should. I'll let you know when mine gets finished. But just get AptBackup from cydia in case and then run that and then do a normal phone back up, if the cydia apps arn't there when you start up cydia it should download them again.

Thank god. Just built my IPSW and now flashing my iPhone. I couldn't wait for the jailbreak.

Thankfully I don't need to wait for an unlock, too.
