iPhone Qardio app is gone. What happens when I change phones?

yup, but all of a sudden I was able to pair my Qardio to my new iPhone (four weeks ago, I couldn't get it connected)
Or not. Looks like website was resurrected on Oct 1, 2024. Qardio.com website comes up again.
Any recent hiccups might be due to poorly maintained backend? And/or maybe old apps no longer under support, updated?

My QardioArm will be finding its way to an electronics recycler soon. I can’t log into the app because their servers don’t respond, and you can’t use the hardware if you can’t sign into the app.
Guess there’s something to be said about dumb electronics. Even if the manufacturer of my old conventional blood pressure cuff goes belly-up, the hardware still works. I liked that the QardioArm automatically logged everything for me and the Health app could keep track of trends. The portability factor was also nice. Might have to see what Withings has to offer.
Recently after an iOS update, my Qardio app was logged out. I was, fortunately, able to log in so to-date I have been able to use my QardioArm.
@iSkippy , I agree with you about dumb electronics. At the very least, QardioArm should have a display to show what it has measured and a button to activate measuring. This way, even if the company goes belly up (which looks like it has) you can still use the device and would only need to manually enter the data to your tracking software.
Like you, I really like the portable factor of QardioArm. I have a very similar device made by Withings called the BPM Connect. It's just a little bit larger, but it has a display and has a button to active measurement. It connects via bluetooth or Wifi to upload data to the Withings server/app, but also if that service goes away, the device itself is still useful.

I was looking at the BPM Connect as a possible replacement, but I think I might go for the Omron Evolv instead, just because Omron is a bigger company. I’m sure Withings isn’t going anywhere, but Omron is a little better known in this area.
That said, more than a little miffed that I can’t purchase either in Canada, since Health Canada seemingly hasn’t approved either device. Guess I might have a trip to Buffalo in my future; glad it’s only two hours to the border, and I really like wings. Probably why I need to monitor my blood pressure in the first place.
Omnron definitely is a larger company and well-known for their cardio devices. Omron evolv is a similar product to the BPM connect, but it is also much bulkier because the cuff is semi-rigid. If that works for you, that's fine. It's not good for me as a mobile device. It's too bulky.
