Same has been happening to me, driving me bonkers. Missing so many replies to messages. I find it more prominent when I send a text to somebody I don't chat with often, I almost always miss their reply.

Does anyone know if 14.3 B3 fixed this today? I will hop back on the beta train the second this is resolved.

I’ve got this issue too. Seems to be affecting everyone. I haven’t received any texts yet so can’t tell if it’s fixed with iOS 14.3 Beta 3.

Although it seems that there are certainly many affected it seems that for whatever reason it's not everyone by far.
I bet it's more than we think though. My brother randomly piped up the other day complaining he was missing text messages after I'd had this problem for a while already.

Yeah I think a lot of people have had it for weeks and may not of noticed. But now it seems like everyone is coming out of the woodwork.

That's certainly possible (which is why I said many). At the same time it seems that it's not necessarily something that applies to everyone. That isn't to say it's not an issue or not much of an issue, just that there's potentially more complexity to it in the sense that it's not necessarily something that is always reproducible by everyone.

This has been happening to me quite often recently. It seems to have started around the recent update..

I’ve been working on this problem with Apple customer support for a few days. The hard part is that I can’t replicate it so every time they want me to test a message which of course works. The next step is to contact them immediately after it happens and then they will try to get a diagnostic log. At this point I’d be happy with them simply admitting there’s a problem.

100%. That’s exactly my thought. Just admit that you’re working on it so we have the confidence that this won’t be an issue months from now.

12 mini here and the same problems. Zero notifications. I go back to messages and there sure is respond from friends etc.,
Yet no notifications. Annoying.

Hoping MR Staff bump this issue up in priority (if they haven’t already) in order for the larger tech world to make a bigger fuss to Apple. Maybe then, they’ll take notice, 🙄

In my ongoing ticket with Apple, my rep said they definitely know about the issue. Getting lots of calls. What's scary though is that it doesn't appear that they really know how to fix it yet.

Really?! That’s concerning, to say the least. I wonder if, similar to FB, this ‘beast’ they’ve created has become so large and complex that they’ve lost complete control, and are trying to wrangle a system they no longer completely understand.

Yeah I'm not sure. I will say this. They've been very pleasant over the phone. But the process this week has been gathering logs and screenshots from me.

Everyone, turning off Bluetooth (in Settings, not via CC) restores full Messages notifications functionality for me. Maybe that’s a clue.

EDIT: on the 11" iPP.

Anyone else getting this? Happening to my wife and I. Both on the latest iOS, she's on an XS and I'm on a 12PM.

We both use Apple Watches so not sure if it's linked, but sometimes we will go into an iMessage conversation and see a reply that we were never notified about...

Yep. A bunch of threads on this one now. Huge issue and Apple is working on it, although it doesn't appear that they know how to fix it yet.

Talked to Apple today. This is going to be fixed with a software update. They’re still working in the solution but they are definitely getting flooded with complaints.
