I think it depends on ones needs and expectations. For me the 8GB stock RAM and the 16GB 2133 MHz Kingston RAM is the best compromise, despite the RAM down clocking when combined, to 1866MHz. If i decide to upgrade in 6 months, i can drop in a further 16b RAM, however, they will now all be at 2133Mhz.I'm still confused between these two:

If the iMac isn't capable of running at 2133MHz, why is everybody going for it over the 1866? There is a price difference of £20 between the two, so why are we paying more? I don't get it
