My point in sharing my experience was to add to yours. In the long run I don't see a reason to have iCleaner/Pro installed.

If we are avoiding using it because of what we suspect it might do, then how does it benefit us?

I just removed it. I don't need to clean cache files so bad that I have to have it on my phone with the potentiality for disaster or big problems if I use it.

There's already another thread of a user who used it and can't get to safe mode.

I'm sure it will be updated, if the issue in fact ultimately does end up being attributed to it. The developer is very much on top of his game and I'm sure if there is an issue, he'll squash it -- for me at least, running it every few days or even once a week to clean up crap is good enough for me, one reboot shortly after that won't bring my world to an end, and thankfully that's the only side effect I've had of using it, again if the issues are legitimately tied to iCleaner itself and not something else.

I started having random reboots after updating Pangu to 1.2

Already removed flux and NoSlowAnimations, but the problem continued. Just removed iCleaner pro, hoping the reboots stop!

I've been having them as well - Never have had iCleaner Pro installed so I think it must be something else

I had at least 5 random reboots after 1.2. Removed icleaner and no problems since then. (Also reinstalled flux and noslowanimations)

I've run ccleaner several times in the past 24 hours, due to installing and removing various tweaks, etc. Not a single reboot overnight, or anytime in between. No idea if its worked itself out internally, or if the updates to Cydia Substrate, or something else fixed it; at least for me, I'm golden right now.

What repo is that on?

What repo is what on? If substrate, there were two updates I believe today, most recent 0.9.6101 both on the main/Saurik repo.
Hmmm. I ask because I don't see it. I see something called CClean (which is for Control Center) but not CCleaner.

No more reboots here and I didn't really change anything, strange. I know there were substrate and untether updates but the reboots stopped for me before any of those updates.

By the way to everyone, the latest Substrate update fixes the issue where tweaks could cause Cydia to crash
I've had no crashes of Cydia, amazingly. Just the reboots which were happening daily several times, mainly after running iCleaner, but those have seemed to stop now, even with me now running iCleaner, so IDK if the pangu tether update or the updates to Substrate fixed it. Either way I've got everything, finally, the way I like it, now just waiting for WeatherBoard 2, though I may stick with Lock+ as it's got a few nice themes.

No no, I'm saying there was an update to Cydia Substrate, not to iCleaner.
Oh ok. Got you. I applied that update - and the second one.

I didn't realize that CCLeaner was another name for iCleaner. So, I looked for it. Found something called that on a different repo. Which is why I was asking.

Now I'm on the same page with you.

Did you update to the 1.2 untether?

Do you know if they no longer use the exile90software repo url?

Did not know about the new repo url
Well, Ivano Bilenchi is exile90. I think he changed the repo. And until the other day I had no idea there was a beta repo as well.

Old thread I know, but I may have new information to offer if anyone needs this.

Previously we suspected that these random bootloops were due to iCleaner/Pro. Based on an experience I had last week and a thread I am in currently on reddit, I might suggest the removal of Google Photos and/or Google Drive.

Both apps run a process called 'FileProvider' in the background. That process seems to crash consistently and when it does it takes the Springboard down with it. I don't know if it would be causing reboots as well, but it's possible.

An update to Google Photos last week sent everything out of whack last week until I just happened to check Crash Reporter and discover what process was crashing things.

So, if you are having this issue, try removing those apps if you have them installed and see what happens.

I don't have either installed but I'm still get reboots overnight, every night....

Would this be related to iOS 9.0.2 rather than the jailbreak? It's annoying me now....
Possibly. Someone on reddit mention that this is occurring on stock iPhones as well around 3am. Seems to be more prominent if you have DND on.

That said, I don't have this at all and I have DND scheduled to turn on at midnight too.
