Old thread I know, but I may have new information to offer if anyone needs this.

Previously we suspected that these random bootloops were due to iCleaner/Pro. Based on an experience I had last week and a thread I am in currently on reddit, I might suggest the removal of Google Photos and/or Google Drive.

Both apps run a process called 'FileProvider' in the background. That process seems to crash consistently and when it does it takes the Springboard down with it. I don't know if it would be causing reboots as well, but it's possible.

An update to Google Photos last week sent everything out of whack last week until I just happened to check Crash Reporter and discover what process was crashing things.

So, if you are having this issue, try removing those apps if you have them installed and see what happens.

I also do not have google photos or google drive installed but encounter the reboot problem quite often (once every 1-3 days)

I turn on DND at night as well

I also heard that it might be an issue with iOS itself

Thanks for the suggestion though

I don't know if your issue is the same but rebooting at night is an iOS issue. It happens to non-jailbroken iOS 9 devices, too. It has been discussed here and at the Apple forums, before. The general consensus is that it happens more often (possibly only?) when the device is plugged in and possibly more often (only?) when DND is also on.

If your reboot issue is the same, you will probably see SystemMemoryReset files in /var/mobile/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/

It has happened a few times to my 6s and I think usually within a few minutes after 3am. It has also happened a few times to my iPad 4 and I think usually within a few minutes after 4am.

The freezing after a reboot...I have no comment on that.

My 6+ resprings occasionally on 9.0.2. My 6S+ doesn't seem to have this problem, also on 9.0.2. It doesn't reboot because I never have to enter my passcode, my fingerprint will unlock every time.

Edit: My 6S+ just did a restring upon opening an app. This is usually when it happens on either phone.

The only tweaks I have are pandora downloader, ifile and tetherme.

The only connection to the reboots I can find is when the phone is connected to a power source for a prolonged amount of time. It only happens to me overnight, when my phone is charging all night.

I don't have icleaner, never used it, and my de ice reboots almost nightly.

I'm thinking of getting rid of my Jailbreak. I'm tired if the resprings (not reboots). I have a 6S on 9.2, a 6s+ and a 6+ and a 5S on 9.0.2 and all of these except for the 6S respring at random times, usually when I open some app. This time, it resprang when I opened the settings app. the 6S is solid all around.

I do experience random resprings, but nowhere near as many as I had on my 6+ with the iOS 8 jailbreak.

Killing Google Photos and Google Drive for me also made a difference. It's only once and a while now and usually only after I've had quite a few apps open for a while.

For me, it just comes with jailbreaking. I don't like it, but I accept it as my jailbreak is worth more to me than the occaisional respring. Not that I'd feel the same way if I was suffering as many in this thread seem to be.

I lost mine when I was on iOS 9.0.2.

It didn't feel fully baked.

I'm speaking from my own opinion but this JB has been the least stable. I in no way disrespect the guys for making it public but for me it was affecting my user experience

Agreed. I can always JB once again whenever the next one is released and try it again. I have 4 iPhones Jailbroken, 6S, 6S+. 6+ and a 5S. I think I'll just restore the 6S+ to get it back to stock since that phone and the 6S are my main phones. The 6S+ has the number I give out to everyone.

IMHO if it is still a problem in 9.2 then this is a hardware issue. I cant imagine that not one out of the hundreds of IOS engineers working at apple would not have experienced the issue by now and fixed it in 9.2.
