The iPhone 1 was my first cell phone. I didn't have one before because I didn't need a phone. I can still remember holding it and being on the internet. For me, it was a pocket computer that also happened to make phone calls. Pretty much how I feel now. This is why the original iPhone is way too valuable! iconic, Ahead of its time!

Yeah, it's pretty much the "sealed box" part that makes it so valuable.I have a heavily used 4GB with the original box. It stopped working and when I took it in to see about getting repaired the guys at the counter oohed and aaahed over it. That was probably a good decade ago so I knew it would be worth something eventually. The condition will probably lower the value tremendously though I'm thinking.
Some of my current apps still work on the 4s, what’s surprising is that some of the apps that were 64mb can still sync up via iCloud with my iPhone 14, unfortunately the good old apps that were stuck in 32mb don’t talk to the cloud 🤣My iPhone 4S still is going and works with iCloud Photos yet.![]()
They won't be worth much. It's the original iphone from the first 2/3 weeks of the original launch that are fetching for 6 figures. The only other device that I think will have this effect would be the Vision headset since it's the first new device Apple has made since introducing the Apple Watch. We'll have to wait 20 years to see what happens. Why do I feel like there are quite a few people in the world that has every iPhone ever made still in the box, and waiting another 20 years to cash out. Lol.
