why was that under itunes wifi store column? Is it possible that the store will launch later this week?

I just cancelled my Universal Dock as well, stupid thing would have held up my order. Just means I'll have to pay for shipping on it separate at a later date, tar well.

They are just saying that the Wifi Store will be up by then not that the iPod Touch will be shipping.
They say that it will hit retailers...I don't think the Wifi store will be in retail stores.
That's weird - I thought Apple normally ships each item "when its available" rather than sticking them all together in one shipment.

Im in Canada and i called my local store and they gave me the usual story. 28th of september blah blah blah.... still , i should get it before our stores get theirs.
Like mentioned in the Troy Michigan thread though, that's going to be the story no matter what, because the staff of the stores don't even know when the iPods are going to be in stock.
