First impression - Jesus Christ it is BIG! Wasn’t expecting quite that size. Definitely need to trial this one full time for a week to see if I can get used to it. I’ve got fairly big male hands as well, no idea how those with small hands cope with max sized phones!
Yep even i found it too big after my 11 Pro Max. It is a huge phone. I exchanged it for the Pro and very happy

After going back and forth between the Pro and Pro Max for close to 2 months I finally settled on the Max. After owning the 8 Plus then the XS Max for 2 years I told myself I was going smaller this year and was hype for the 6.1" Pro because I thought it would be the same dimensions as the XR/11 but its actually feels more like an 11 Pro which I always thought was a bit too small. The 12 Pro Max is big, at times uncomfortable and heavy but I have gotten used to it and everytime I use the 12 Pro the screen feels small even though holding it is obviously more comfortable I'm willing to sacrifice some of that comfort for that big beautiful display and battery life. I know whenever I need to do something one handed I will miss the 12 Pro but overall I think I made the right choice. Once you go big its hard to go back.

Between 12 pro max and 12 pro... 12 pro it is. Best decision ever. Don’t miss anything from 12 pro max

I've had the 12 pro max for a while now and I've gotten used to this gigantic screen. I can't imagine anything smaller. Just the other day, I had the battery replaced on my SE1. I plan to keep the SE1 as backup phone, strictly for emergency phone calls and texting. When I put the two phones side by side, the image is hilarious. 😁😃😄

I went back and forth between both numerous times. Now that I’ve settled on one, I still go back and forth in my mind. Lol The 12 Pro is the ideal size IMO. Fits in the hand nicely. I can almost reach every corner without having to adjust the device at all. I also prefer the 2.0 over the 2.5 telephoto. Sometimes I’ve had to back up a little when doing certain portrait shots with the Max.

That said, I think I’m going to stick with my Max. It’s big and it’s heavy, but it’s not drastically bigger or heavier than the 12 Pro. The battery life and the screen real estate are what pushed me over the edge. I like to game and read on my phone regularly. And the battery is up to a few hours (depending on usage) longer than the 12 Pro. If I could’ve gotten the 12 Pro with similar battery life, I’d be all over it.
