Mines said it was at Chendu last night and went back to this status. Mines is expected to deliver on Monday. Hopefully it'll get here by then.
I ordered my 64GB 3G Black Ipad on April 25th,2011 and received an estimated shipping date of May 9th and estimated delivery by May 12th.
I received a shipment notification from Apple this morning stating that it was shipped!This was after about a 1 and a half days of my order being "Prepped for Shipment".
According to the email I received from Apple, it should be delivered here to North Carolina by May 12th (from May 11th) but according to UPS it is scheduled to be delivered by May 9th @ 10:30am.

Which model did you order? I placed my order for a Black 64g AT&T on April 26th. Original ship date May 10, original delivery date May 11. I just checked again this morning, and while the ship date is still the same, the delivery date slipped all the way to May 17! Majorly bummed, especially since my birthday is May 11 and that would have been a lovely bday gift...

my delivery date went from 5/12 to 5/17 before it shipped - I called Apple and they said UPS is just having trouble with their system. Last night 5/6 my order shipped and my delivery date went back to 5/11 on the UPS tracking system. you don't need to worry

From the time i went to bed last night...to the time i woke up this afternoon...my ipad arrived in Kentucky, shipped out to Portland, Or and a delivery was attempted to my dad's house (I had it shipped there because there was a better chance he'd be home to sign for it...but of course, he wasnt).
The scheduled delivery still says Monday, but it looks like they are going to make a second attempt to drop it off today.
I've been waiting for it all week in hopes i would get it before tonight. I wanted to make a giant playlist for a party i am throwing, but it looks like that fate is not in the cards for me. There is no time...there is never any time. IM SOOOO EXCITED!

Alright, so I have a new story. Hahaha.
Ordered my iPad online yesterday, and then went down for family purposes to LA. I checked to see if any stores had an iPad 2, because there were NONE around where I lived. So I found a target with on, drove 20 minutes through LA's traffic (supposed to be a few miles) and then got to the target. I found the last one. Right when I bought it, I saw someone ask for it! Oh boy. Just canceled my order but have to wait till I get home to activate my iPad. I may go head over to the apple store to have them activate it, but yeah'

So I cancelled my order, and am syncing now!

They are attempting delivery on a Saturday? Is this UPS? Should I have my hopes out for a delivery today? (it arrived early AM to my local UPS center.)

I think maybe you were lucky? I live in NYC and it's going on day 5 (saturday would be day 4) of my 'expedited' delivery and nothing today. Last scan it hadn't even left china. UPS sucks.
