White 64GB 3G ordered 5/5. Original ship date 5/19 and was scheduled to deliver 5/26.
Updated info throughout the day (5/16), went from Prepared for Shipment to assigning a tracking #. So it shipped 3 days earlier than scheduled and is now to be delivered 5/20

This is exactly like my UPS tracking. It says it will be here by the 19th though..I use UPS alot and sometimes it won't update till the day before the delivery date.

Things like that definitely ruin getting a shiny new gadget. My first iPad started getting a bunch of dust under the screen within about a week. They exchanged it for me no problem, but it's still annoying.
Mine is exactly the same. Mine is coming through UPS, no updates since 5/14.

To those posting your tracking info or ship dates, could you also post your order date? It would be quite helpful to figure out when our ship dates will be.

You should have more updates on FedEx tracking.
Yours is exact the same as mine, but mine left Anchorage and made to TN 4am, then to Newark NJ 9am, to Jamaica NY 11am, to Maspeth NY at 1pm. It says its on FedEx vehicle for delivery, if not today then tomorrow. I am in NY too.

Ordered Apr. 19, one tip I may give to possible future buyers: buy the ipad solely, and get the smartcover etc in a APR, or order separately ... because it slowed my shipment down quite a bit

Bad news for all of us who had their iPads 'shipped' on the 14th and haven't had an update on ups.com for 3 days. The reason is: there is no update. They haven't shipped. They haven't left China.
I just got off the phone with UPS. According to them they have been 'overwhelmed' with the shipment and couldn't load it on their planes. They also have no idea when they are supposed to be shipped out. Express 2-day delivery also makes no difference as that 'only kicks in after they reach US shores'. (according to an Apple rep I called afterwards, who told me they heard the 'plane' story several times today)
I wish Apple would have used FedEx. I never had a problem with them. They do have planes. Enough planes. Now I'm incredibly disappointed not to be able to buy an iPad in store and wait weeks for delivery. Doubtful we can still get it by Friday. Fail.
