Now that you mention it, the delivery date has disappeared from mine.

Well the most ridiculous thing for me is that they 'don't have enough planes'. It's basic capacity planning. If they don't have them they need to get capacity from someone else. Also I dunno why they won't have enough planes for three days.
In other news: McDonalds ran out of ChickenMcNuggets, Mercedes is out of stars and sadly Toys R Us ran out of toys. Tz tz tz...

I just got off the phone with apple...apparently there's more then one story to this ordeal. UPS has faulty tracking labels info and even though it does not show it is in transit ...it is indeed on its way and will be delivered by the give due date (mine was the 19th)..they will consider it late if it is not shipped by the 23rd.

No I didn't, it's the regular free shipping.

It will be delivered tomorrow, because when it got to Maspath facility today all the truckers left for the day already.

mrtibbs - I really really hope that is true! Apple told me the same as UPS. That they heard the plane story several times today and that in their system it shows no delivery date either.

Just got off the phone with UPS...these iPads are indeed in transit ...they have just cleared customers this afternoon. Tracking should reflect this in the upcoming 24-48 hours

Man I hope so... Mine should be in that lot considering my dates/times are the same on UPS. I've been stalking this forum for 2 weeks... I'd really like to stalk another thread...

FYI mine was ordered May 3. In the email (which I got May 14) it said "Delivers By May 19." I'm not confident it will make it by end of day tomorrow... what do you guys think?

UPS is an awful service compared to FedEx for tracking (and shipping too).

I haven't received that message yet but it's expected as I also haven't received an update from UPS in almost 96 hours.

You have to laugh at this point. At May 27th delivery date it would have taken UPS longer to ship it then for Apple to make it.

I just talked to UPS on the phone, and the lady told me that it most likely won't arrive on the 19th, but before 10:30am on Friday the 20th. I hope this helps those in the same boat.
