Awesome widget! Love it!

Wondering if anyone can post the wallpaper without the overlay? I am just using the widget and this wallpaper looks bad with it :p.

EDIT: Found it! Ty :3

i think you have done a awesome job, best htc mod around.

However, on my iphone 4, it looks like this, do you know why. widghet only version, iphone 4, on 4.1. Just edited weather code and interval.

summerboard enabled. dont mind the clock, i just used hide clock for that, but i mean why the 13 degrees is under the widget :)

Install 'Clock Hide' from Cydia to hide the default clock.
The negative temperature may be a glitch in the CSS. I'll look into it when I get the time.

Is there any point for the paint brush on the right corner and the arrow on the left? Did I do something wrong or are those just for looks?

Let me know if you need some stuff from me to help fix the -15 falling out of the widget.

Also, just a quick question, is there a way to change background? cause after installing home and lock widghet only, its just a black background. I have tried renaming wallpaper.html to wallpaperdisabled.html but then the widget wont show at all.

I love the widghet, just would like to use with my personal wallpaper, and all i get is a black background

just a quick update before going to bed, seems 4.2.1 broke many springboard wallpaper stuff. cause i guess my problems are releated to 4.2.1. Weather temp dropping outside the widghet and only black bacgrounds.

Contents of /private/var/mobile/Library/SpringBoard has changed, now its lockbackground.cpbitmap. Dunno where the springboardbackground went, but its not in /private/var/mobile/Library/SpringBoard anymore, i guess because of 4.2.1 the widget is looking in the wrong folders for backgrounds. allthough most people are still on 4.1. Just a heads up when 4.2 becomes more "mainstream"

"Just for everybodys info the lockbackground.jpg /springboard hack to use whatever the user wants doesnt work in the latest firmware 4.2.1 that is because apple switched to a propritary file to display wallpapers. From jpg to cpbitmap which cant be loaded into html."

It'll be a simple CSS change, just a number in-fact. I'll get round to it ASAP - I'm extremely busy for the next week though I'm afraid. Sorry for the inconvenience, I hope you'll continue to use and enjoy the theme now, and after the fix.

Thanks for the info regarding backgrounds, I didn't know that and it's a valuable bit of knowledge.

Your post makes no sense and appears to be in the wrong topic anyway.

Maybe ill have a crack at the code and try to fix my temp problem. Also, do you know if its possible to remove the statusbar and all the icons and move the widget a couple of pixes up. Sometimes there is little/no space between the widgets and the icons.

And again, awesome work

I will try my best to get the fix done and uploaded this weekend when I get a spare minute or two.

You weren't joking - it really does get cold where you are! -16C!

thanks andy :) just a quick update, the temp dropped down to -9 c today and the temp went to the right place in the widget.

so the problem accurs when the temp is -10C and higher. like -10C, -11C etc

just a heads up, and it might save you some work to locate the issue.

tried changing out some code and changing the weather icons, think it turned out pretty good

Pixelated weather icons, yuck!

Just got round to sorting out the negative temperature layout issue.
Re-download and install using instructions on the theme webpage (follows).

Any chance this could be modified for iPad? i think it'd look great on that screen.

I don't own an iPad, nor do I intend on doing so before Apple release a finished model. So for now, I cannot tweak this theme for the iPad I'm afraid.

sorry but they are not pixelated, they are higher res then the included htc weather icons, i guess they look like that, because its blown up. on 3,5" it looks super crisp.

thanks for fixing the - C bug

I wasn't trying to get at you, I just couldn't put up with any fuzziness.
Yeh - no problem.

I have successfully installed the android widget, thanks again Andy. I am kind of lost on how to assign my own background image on the lockscreen page.
Is this something i have to change in jquery or css file? Also on a different note, my weather widget box seems not to be aligned properly, you can see this both side of the edges of the box. Can anyone give me a correct px number of the width, using in iphone 3g. Thanks again
