[Release] AndroiHD (iP4) WinterBoard Lock/Home Screen(s)

Need help! Just Jailbreaked my iPhone 3GS for the first time and this is the first wallpaper i want to do. Now i downloaded "OpenSHH" on cydia and also downloaded both the lock screen and homescreen.

Im confused what to do after this. Im running on windows.
Can you please give me step by step help on what to do next? :(

You will also need to download WinterBoard from Cydia.

Have you got an FTP client and connected to your iPhone yet?
Your connection details will be as follows:

IP: 192.168.0.XXX (or your iPhone's LAN address)
username: root
password: alpine

This will get you to /private/var. Now find a folder called stash, then inside stash, a folder called 'Themes.[XXXXXX]' where XXXXXX is a random string of alphanumerics.

Open up AndroiHD.js from AndroiHD Homescreen folder and set your settings.
Now do this with the AndroiHD.js from the AndroiHD Lockscreen folder.

Now upload both folders to the Themes.[XXXXXX] folder you're in on your FTP client. Go to WinterBoard->Select Themes and tick both AndroiHD themes. Press the home button and your iPhone will re-spring (give it a few seconds).

When your iPhone screen comes back, you have an HTC ;)

An FTP client. Just download winSCP: http://winscp.net/eng/download.php

Open an SFTP connection using those details written above. If you don't know how to find your iPhone's IP address, login to your router and look at your connected clients.

Ok so i downloaded winSCP.
And i opened it up and got this.

Where do i go from here? Login to my router? :confused:
 
Just use the details I posted above. If you really don't know how to find a local IP address, Google it. The iPhone's local IP is the host name.

Not to be ugly but if following these instructions is difficult then maybe you shouldn't do it or you should find some YouTube vids first. This is all on you.

Find your IP address in the settings of your phone. Settings > WiFi > the little blue arrow next to your wireless network name.

Put that into the Host Name
username: root
password: alpine

The file directory is as posted by andy9l

That atually helped. Didnt know i have to connect to my Wi-Fi on my Phone.
And eh, first time, jailbroke my iphone for the first time like 5 minutes ago and had my eyes on this wallpaper. Doesnt hurt to learn so i know for the better in the future. ;)

EDIT: -sigh- Says
No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
Connection failed. :(

My thoughts exactly, I just didn't want to say it. Remember, ThunderApple, your warranty with Apple is now void - anything you manage to screw is irreversible; especially at your level of knowledge on the subject. That would be a $200-$600 mistake.

I'm not working with the same program or OS you're on so I can only help so much.

For the connection to establish and be maintained the phone can not go to sleep. Keep it awake.

Also, andy9l and I forgot to tell you about something pretty important...
You need to go into Cydia and install OpenSSH.

See, even we mess up some times. :eek:

But you kinda gotta really mess something up to do that.

Yeah i know. Thats why im taking this a bit slow as far as other stuff go.

Follow the instructions posted here and on the theme's page on my website. All the information is there, it's a very simple task. Let us know if you come across any problems. I'm not using Windows or WinSCP so I too can only help up to a point here.
 
Got it! Im running it as my wallpaper now. Everything is working great and it looks great. However one problem. When my screen is locked. It still has the iPhones time, date on the top. How do i get rid of that?

How did you get the SuaveHD icons to work with this wallpaper? I downloaded the Icons themselves, and Draged the Bundle folder into the same folder that i droped your wallpapers into. Taped it in Winterboard but my Icons dont seem to change.

Awesome Wallpaper BTW.
 
You can't just put a Bundles folder into /Library/Themes.
It would need to be in /Library/Themes/Some_Theme_Name(.theme)/Bundles

EDIT: Alright well it seems like it only changed the Cydia, Winterboard and like one or two games. Do you know why this is? Im not running on the iPhone 4 but it seems to only have changed like one or two Apps.

If you're not using an iPhone 4, it would probably work out best if you downloaded non-retina themes. It's not 'odd', it's how WinterBoard and iOS work.

If you use the above, it's unlikely that any games icons will change as there are very few contributions/updates to that theme.
 
Slider issue

Hey Andy,
Great work, but I have the same problem. The slider is not working. My summerboard is on and i re-installed the theme as well. AndroiHD Lockscreen is also at the top in winter board. Please Help.

Do you just see the default iPhone slider?
